How much does it cost to book a ride?

Prices are set by drivers at approximately CA$0.08 per km (recommended rate), up to a maximum of CA$0.16 per km, charged per seat. The same seat price applies to every passenger regardless of age. A 5% GST and 35% booking fee are added at checkout. Drivers keep 85% of earnings — RideCarpooling charges a 15% service fee for platform maintenance.

Can I cancel my booking and get a refund?

Yes. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before departure receive a full refund to your original payment method. Cancellations within 24 hours are refunded as platform credits. Drivers can also cancel rides, which triggers automatic full refunds to all passengers.

Not at all. Most of our users are passengers looking for affordable rides. Simply search for your route, filter by date and price, and book a seat. You can also post a ride request if no listings match your needs.
